In order to make it simple to follow which savings are available and when, we have included the relevant expiry date. In addition, we have split the savings into two simple sections:

Cruise Credits may be used against the fare you pay for your voyage with Princess. They may not be used for additional purchases, such as Shore Excursions or Land Only Tours.

Onboard Discounts may be used onboard only. These will be applied to your onboard account and may be used to purchase all onboard services and products, such as Spa treatments or Shore Excursions.

Your Account details are also summarized for you by showing a total of any savings currently applied to a booking (a future sailing for which you are currently booked). This total is shown in the Total Currently Applied. Savings available for use on your next booking are shown in your Total Remaining Balance.

Not all savings are combinable and you may notice that you still have remaining savings, even though you have a current booking. You will be notified in promotional material when a discount or offer is not combinable with other savings or offers.

Your Account Summary gives you detail on each saving, by showing you;

Credit ID #	This is the number you should use when making an enquiry about the relevant credit.
Description	This describes how the credit was obtained
Earned	This is the date the credit was added to your account
Expires	This credit must be used by the "SAIL BY" or "BOOK BY" expiration date shown in your Circle Savings Account. If that booking is then cancelled after the expiry date, it will not be possible to apply it to another booking.
Status	This lets you know whether the credit is active (available for use), pending (awaiting another action), or applied (to a booking).
Amount	This outlines the $ amount of the credit, or may be a range, % or daily rate.

Some of the savings outlined in your Account Summary will not be calculated into your Total Remaining Balance. This will not be possible in the case where your savings are in the form of a % or a daily rate, neither of which can be calculated until your voyage is selected (and your fare is known). Where a range of $ is shown, the minimum $ amount will be used in your Total Remaining Balance.
